The average size of a seed round in India was $1.1 million in 2021 first half

Up from $800,000 in the same period last year and $740,000 in 2019

An average Series A check size this year has been $7.67 million

At least seven more $50 Mn+ rounds and more than a dozen $20 Mn+ rounds are expected to close within weeks

Despite hardships imposed by the pandemic, Indian startups’ funding spree continues
