China introduces the world’s fastest maglev train
It runs at a top speed of 600 km/hr
It can cover a 1000 km distance from Beijing to Shanghai in 2.5 hours!
Now, it takes 5.5 hours by train and three hours by flight
China self-developed the train in the coastal city of Qingdao of Shandong province
The maglev trains move by magnetic levitation with electromagnets
They are more efficient than regular trains as they don’t depend on friction for movement
Quite expensive, only countries like France, Japan, Spain, South Korea and China use this
The train also has Wi-Fi and wireless charging
