Spark Studio, a Bengaluru-based startup, is writing history in India’s edtech ecosystem through extracurricular learning. Anushree Goenka, Kaustubh Khade, Namita Goel, and Jyothika Sahajanandan are the brains behind this venture. They believe that extracurricular activities play an integral part in developing the creative and intellectual sides of a student.
In the extracurricular education sector, Spark Studio is experimenting with new marketing strategies. It was the idea of Anushree, former business strategy assistant vice president of Swiggy, that led to the birth of Spark Studio. The team started the research about the market and consumers in May 2020 and launched the startup in October.
Spark studio offers courses in extracurricular activities to improve the talents of students and thereby instill confidence in them. The platform has courses in music, speech and debate, and visual arts for students aged between six years and 15 years. Anushree believes that it will help in growing students’ inclination towards creative professional jobs. She adds that, in the education sector, it is important to win the faith of parents through quality products.
Spark Studio recently raised funds from Better Capital. The startup currently focuses on strengthening the team and providing the best customer experience.
