റെയിൽവേ വിവരങ്ങളറിയാൻ സ്വകാര്യ ആപ്പുകളുപയോഗിക്കുന്നവരോട് NTES ആപ്പ് പിന്തുടരാൻ നിർദ്ദേശിച്ച് ഇന്ത്യൻ റെയിൽവേ. റെയിൽവേ സമയമടക്കം അറിയുന്നതിന് യാത്രക്കാർക്ക് ആശ്രയിക്കാനാകുന്ന ഔദ്യോഗിക ആപ്പാണ് NTES. സെന്റർ ഫോർ റെയിൽവേ ഇൻഫർമേഷൻ സിസ്റ്റം ( CRIS) ആണ് ആപ്പിന്റെ രൂപകൽപ്പനയും നിർമ്മാണവും. നവംബർ 1 മുതൽ കൊങ്കൺ പാത വഴിയുള്ള ട്രെയിനുകളുടെ സമയമാറ്റം പരിശോധിക്കാൻ സ്വകാര്യ ആപ്പുകളുപയോഗിച്ച് വെട്ടിലായവർക്കായാണ് റെയിൽവേയുടെ നിർദ്ദേശം.

Railways advises users to use the NTES app or the 139 hotline to track trains.
