സോളാർ, വിൻഡ്, ഹൈഡ്രോ, നൂക്ലിയർ മാർഗ്ഗങ്ങളിലൂടെ രാജ്യത്തിനാവശ്യമായ ഇലക്ട്രിസിറ്റി എനർജിയുടെ 50%-വും ഗ്രീൻ എനർജിയിലേക്ക് മാറിയിരിക്കുന്നു. അതിന്റെ ബ്യൂട്ടി എന്താണെന്ന് വെച്ചാൽ 2030-ലാണ് രാജ്യം ഈ നേട്ടം ലക്ഷ്യമിട്ടിരുന്നതെങ്കിൽ 5 വർഷം മുന്നേ ആ ലക്ഷ്യം നേടിയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നർത്ഥം. എണ്ണയും ഗ്യാസും ഉൾപ്പ്ടെയുള്ള ഫോസിൽ ഫ്യൂവൽ ഇറക്കുമതിയിലെ അമിത വിധേയത്വം കുറയ്ക്കാനും, ഹരിത തൊഴിൽ അവസരങ്ങൾ സൃഷ്ടിക്കാനും ലോകത്തിന്റെ ക്ലൈമറ്റ് ലീഡറായി ഇന്ത്യയെ ഉയർത്താനും ഈ നേട്ടം സഹായിക്കും. പല രാജ്യങ്ങളും ഫോസിൽ ഫ്യൂവലിൽ നിന്ന് ഗ്രീൻ എനർജിയിലേക്ക് മാറാൻ വലിയ ശ്രമം നടത്തുന്നുണ്ട്. പക്ഷെ നോൺ-ഫോസിൽ എനർജിയുടെ കപ്പാസിറ്റിയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട COP26 എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്ന Paris Agreement നടപ്പാക്കുന്ന ആദ്യ G20 രാജ്യമായി ഇന്ത്യ മാറിയിരിക്കുകയാണ്. 10 വർഷം കൊണ്ട്1 കോടി വീടുകൾ സോളാർ വൈദ്യുതിയിലേക്ക് മാറിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
