The tech summer camp organized by FAB Lab Kochi & Kerala Startup Mission has brought a unique opportunity for school students to learn about digital fabrication. The 3-day intense training program taught the basics of digital fabrication and new technology skills to the students. The camp also introduced the students to 2D, 3D designing tools, PCB designing and basic electronics. Kerala Startup Mission in association with MIT Fab foundation has set up two Fab Labs in Trivandrum and Kochi. Fablab boasts state-of-the-art equipment like 3D printers, laser cutter, CNC router, 3D plotter etc which can be used for rapid prototyping through digital fabrication.
