India’s maiden manned mission ‘Gaganyaan’ likely to be delayed till 2023
COVID-19 led restrictions pressed authorities to delay the mission
Gaganyaan’s first manned mission was scheduled for December 2021
The mission would carry three crew members to low earth orbit
As per Department of Space reports, preliminary design of Gaganyaan system is completed
Also, several MoUs and contracts have been inked for accelerating the mission
ISRO is working with 7 DRDO labs to develop human-centric products for the mission
