Elon Musk is one of the richest men on earth and the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX. According to reports, he now lives in a $50,000 prefab guesthouse measuring 37 sq/mt, in Texas. It is also the place where SpaceX headquarters are located. His little house was built by housing startup Boxabl. It is set up like a studio apartment.
Musk can live anywhere he wants. But the new lifestyle is part of Musk’s vow. In order to attain ‘freedom,’ he vowed to leave California and sell almost all his physical facilities, including six mansions. The website I.stuff.co.nz reports that luxury buildings have never fascinated Musk.
“My primary home is a $50,000 house in Boca Chica / Starbase that I rented from SpaceX. It’s very nice,” Musk had tweeted earlier.
“I own only one house, that’s in the Bay Area. If I sell it and if it’s not a large family, the use will be very less… still that may happen one day,” he said.
Musk added his rent may have increased to $69,000 as he has given the facility a facelift.
Tesla boss has sent out a message. It says this world belongs also to those who value outlook towards life and simplicity more than anything else.
