Amazon India rolls out Alexa-enabled, voice-powered shopping feature. The ‘speak to shop’ feature enables customers to interact with voice commands. The update is now exclusive to Android users in India. To use it, users would need to update the Amazon India shopping app. Amazon Shopping app users will able to browse products & add items to the cart. The feature can be activated by clicking on a voice button near the search bar. Users can’t use this feature to place or pay for an order. The users who have access to Prime can simultaneously ask Alexa to play music.
Google sets up COVID 19 fund. Fund to give paid sick leave to temporary staff and vendors in quarantine. It will also be used to create awareness in the team. Google has advised 100K employees in North America to work from home. Google will monitor the situation and revise terms accordingly. Several Indian startups also have asked employees to work from home. Zoho was the first one to adopt it followed by Flipkart and BYJU’s. Flipkart issued guidelines to employees and suspended all business travels.
