Airtel claims Work@Home to be India’s first enterprise-grade solution. The plan comes with essential & add-on bundles allowing businesses to customize plans.
Google Meet crosses 50 Mn downloads on Play Store. Recently, Google made the app free for users. Google Meet is a professional video conferencing platform. Any user with a Gmail account can access it. The app is now made available to public via G Suite.

WhatsApp Business accounts can now be linked to Facebook. Both Android as well as iOS users can access the feature. The new feature will make connecting with customers easy. Ads put on Facebook will be redirected to WhatsApp business account. WhatsApp Business app should be updated to the new Google Play and App Store version.

Jack Ma resigns from SoftBank’s Board of Directors. Jack Ma retired as executive chairman of Alibaba on September 2019.Reportedly, SoftBank had invested $20 million in Alibaba in 2000. As of February 2020, SoftBank owned about 25.1% of Alibaba shares. He aims to devote his time for philanthropic activities.

By introducing beneficial financial packages, the central government is redefining the prospects for MSME sectors. General opinion is that micro, small and medium enterprises may benefit hugely out of this. The gesture of classifying enterprises on the basis of the amount of money invested, will be replaced by distinguishing them on the basis of turnover. More importantly, the MSME sector will no longer be split into manufacturing and service sector. Government liberalizes participation of private sector companies in all sectors. The move comes as a part of the announcement of new Public Sector Enterprises Policy. The new policy will widely categorizes all strategic sectors. Non-strategic Public Sector Undertakings will be privatized. In strategic sectors, there will be at least one PSU, but private entities will also be allowed.
