രാജ്യത്തെ ആദ്യ അണ്ടര്‍ വാട്ടര്‍ മെട്രോ ലൈന്‍ 2022ല്‍ നിര്‍മ്മാണം പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കും. കൊല്‍ക്കത്ത മെട്രോ ലൈനിന്റെ ഭാഗമാണ് ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ഏറ്റവും ചെലവേറിയ ഈ പ്രോജക്ട്. ഹൂഗ്ലി നദിയുടെ അടിത്തട്ടിലൂടെ 520 മീറ്റര്‍ നീളത്തിലാണ് ടണല്‍ നിര്‍മ്മിക്കുക. മലിനീകരണവും ഗതാഗതക്കുരുക്കും കുറയുന്നതിനൊപ്പം ഗതാഗതത്തിന്റെ 40% മെട്രോയിലൂടെ നടത്താനും സാധിക്കും. ഇതോടെ 20 മിനിട്ട് ബോട്ടില്‍ യാത്ര ചെയ്ത് എത്തുന്ന സ്ഥലത്ത് വെറും 2 മിനിട്ടുകൊണ്ട് എത്താം. പ്രോജക്ടിന്റെ ഫൈനല്‍ ഇന്‍സ്റ്റാള്‍മെന്റായ 20 കോടി രൂപ രണ്ടു വര്‍ഷത്തിനകം ഇന്ത്യന്‍ റെയില്‍വേ ബോര്‍ഡില്‍ നിന്നും ലഭിക്കുമെന്നും KMRC MD Manas Sarkar.

NHAI മുന്‍പാകെ സമര്‍പ്പിച്ച റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് പ്രകാരം കനത്ത മഴയും മണ്ണിടിച്ചിലും ഇത്തരം റോഡുകളെ ബാധിക്കില്ലെന്നും Reliance. 50 ടണ്‍ പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക്ക് ഉപയോഗിച്ച് റായ്ഗഡില്‍ 40 കിലോമീറ്റര്‍ റോഡ് Reliance നിര്‍മ്മിച്ചിരുന്നു.
Ather Energy launches electric bike 450X. Bengaluru based e-scooter manufacturing startup is backed by Hero MotoCorp. Ather 450X is priced at Rs 99,000. Bajaj Auto Ltd & TVS Motor Company have also announced entry into EV segment. Ather 450X will be available on subscription models as well. 450X is the second EV model from Ather Energy. Key features include 4G SIM, WiFi connectivity and Bluetooth. 450X uses Android Open Source to offer map navigation & on-board diagnostics. Ather Energy will expand to 8 cities this year and set up retail outlets across India.
