Nippon Paint launches PPE coveralls for painters. PPEs will be launched under its ‘Medifresh’ brand. Nippon’s PPE kit includes hand sanitizers, facial masks and gloves. Nippon Paint has around 6,500 retail outlets across India. The products are designed as per WHO norms.

Google PlayStore removes ‘Remove China Apps’. The app was removed allegedly for violating deceptive behaviour policy. OneTouch AppLabs had launched the app by mid-May. It could detect the country origin of installed apps and delete them in one go. Since the launch, the app was downloaded 5 Million times by Indian users .

DoT to transform India into a manufacturing, export hub of 5G equipment. A meeting is scheduled today with key stakeholders to roll out PLI scheme for the same. Global telecom gear makers like Nokia, Ericcsson and Huawei will benefit from it. The PLI scheme offers an incentive of 4-6 % for manufacturers for 5 years. The scheme is likely to reduce cost disadvantages faced by manufacturers in India.
