Kerala employs a robot in the fight against COVID-19. The robot ‘Nightingale-19’ can provide food and medicine to patients. Currently deployed at the district coronavirus centre in Ancharakandi, Kannur. A special facility attached to it allows communication between patients and doctors. The Robot is designed by Students of Chemberi Vimal Jyoti Engineering College. The machine, capable to travel up to 1 km, can distribute items from room to room.
IndianOil resumes work on select projects. The list includes 64 major projects worth more than Rs. 21,000 Cr. The company plans to ramp up operations towards normalcy after the lockdown. One of the resumed works is the Rs 3,338 cr-worth Paradip-Hyderabad products pipeline. On an average, IndianOil delivers 26 lakh cylinders every day in spite of the lockdown.

COVID-19: Reliance Foundation to provide meals to 3 Cr Indians. Meals would be provided under the foundation’s ‘Mission Anna Seva’ programme. It will benefit daily wage earners, slum-dwellers and frontline workers among others. It has already distributed over 2 Cr meals in 68 districts across 16 States and one Union Territory. At some locations, the foundation will give redeemable food tokens.
