രാജ്യത്തെവിടെയും സൗകര്യപ്രദമായി യാത്ര ചെയ്യാന് നാഷണല് കോമണ് മൊബൈലിറ്റി കാര്ഡ് (NCMC) പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി പുറത്തിറക്കി. വണ് നേഷന് വണ് കാര്ഡ് പദ്ധതിയുടെ ഭാഗമായാണിത്. രാജ്യത്തെ എല്ലാവിധ ഗതാഗതസംവിധാനങ്ങളിലും ഈ കാര്ഡ് ഉപയോഗിക്കാം. Rupay ഡെബിറ്റ് കാര്ഡ് ശൃംഖലയില് പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്ന കാര്ഡാണിത്. വളരെ ചുരുക്കം ചില രാജ്യങ്ങള്ക്ക് മാത്രമാണ് One Na-tion One Card പദ്ധതിയുള്ളതെന്ന് അഹമ്മദാബാദില് സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച ചടങ്ങില് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു. രാജ്യത്തെ 25 പ്രധാന ബാങ്കുകള് വഴി ലഭിക്കുന്ന പുതിയ ഡെബിറ്റ്, ക്രെഡിറ്റ് കാര്ഡുകളില് ഈ സംവിധാനം ഉള്പ്പെടുത്തും. ബാങ്കുകള് നല്കുന്ന ഡെബിറ്റ്, ക്രെഡിറ്റ് കാര്ഡുകളുടെ മാതൃകയിലുള്ള ഇഎംവി-ചിപ്പ് അധിഷ്ഠിത ‘ഓപ്പണ് ലൂപ്പ്’ സ്മാര്ട്ട് കാര്ഡാണിത്. ടിക്കറ്റ് കൗണ്ടറിലെ പിഒഎസ് മെഷീനുകളില് ഇതുപയോഗിക്കാനാവും.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched the National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) that supports offline transaction across all travel needs in India. With the help of the One Nation One Card, citizens can pay for all types of public transport along with other services. Mobility helps payments across all segments including metro, bus, parking ,suburban railways, toll and retail shopping. The card is powered by RuPay card payment scheme which can be used just like any other debit or credit card.The indigenously-developed card is similar to those used in places like London and Sydney. One Nation One Card works as any debit or credit card and can be used to withdraw money as well.
