Kochi is hosting the 8th edition of South India’s largest entrepreneurs’ meetup TiEcon Kerala in October. This year, delegates across India will be part of the event. TiEcon arrives in October after conducting three mini-cons.
TiEcon Kerala is addressing the various sectors and aims to serve the overarching theme of Tie Kerala, an entrepreneur in every household. As a prelude to the event, TiEcon will be organising sector-focused events such as Agripreneur, focusing the entrepreneurship and technology in agriculture sector; DesignCon- for architect and designers; TiE Women in Business to lead and help women grow in business; and capital cafe pitch fest, a pitching competition to offer funding to startups & entrepreneurs.
Selected 20 finalists from the regional pitch fests held at Kochi, Thrissur, Kozhikode, Kottayam, and Trivandrum will be pitching in front of the investors at Capital Cafe on August 21 at Kochi.
Agripreneurs aims to discuss the challenges faced in the agriculture sector and its solutions. The meet will be held on 31st August at Kottayam. Entrepreneurs and government officials specialized in the agriculture sector will be part of the meeting.
TiE Women in Business will focus on helping women entrepreneurs to grow and lead in the digital world.
DesignCon which will be held on 28th & 29th September at Kozhikode will focus on designers, jewellery experts, product designers and photographers. After conducting the three MiniCon, TiEKerala summit will be held on October 4 & 5 at Le Meridian at Kochi. The theme of the conference this year is ‘Winning Strategies: Leading in a Sustainable and Digital World’.
