Devaayanam, a guide to spirituality
Temples are the religious institutions that establish a spiritual connection between believers and god. However, Devaayanam, a startup went a step ahead and links technology with temples thereby expanding the reach of technology to another social sector. Devaayanam creates a digital connection between believers and temples. The startup ensures that devotees from any corner of the world can contact temples anywhere in Kerala through their platform. The firm creates a website for every temple and integrates them in their platform. Sajeev Manayangath, Santhosh Poothakkurisshi and Damodaran Prasanth are the founders of Devaayanam.
How the startup works
Devotees who live abroad or who are unable to pay visits to the temples mostly depend on relatives for conducting pujas or offerings. Taking a deviation, devotees can contact temples for pujas or offerings directly through Devaayanam. Devaayanam integrates the websites of temples in Kerala, offers services to book pujas and receive the offerings through courier. Cash transactions are between the devotees, bank and the temple trust via the website. Once registered at the website, devotees will receive emails from Devaayanam regarding details of temples to visit.
