Kerala ranked top six in NITI Ayog’s Innovation Index, the first ever innovation ranking of states. Karnataka topped the list followed by Tamil Nadu & Maharashtra. Telangana, Haryana, UP, West Bengal, Gujarat & AP were the other states that topped the ranking. The ranking was done in three categories — Major States, North East and Hill States and Union Territories & Small States. KSUM had received the honour of ‘Top Performer’ in the 2018 annual states’ start-up ranking.
