Indian govt sets up panel of secretaries to ease stress in Telecom sector. Representatives from ministries of finance, law & telecom will form the panel. The total debt incurred by the telecom sector accounts to Rs 4 Trillion. The committee will address spectrum auction deferment, spectrum usage charges reduction etc. On Oct. 24, SC has instructed Telecom Co.s to settle the govt dues within 3 months.
