Govt of India earmarks Rs 500 Cr funding for defense startups.The initiative will be called Innovations for Defense Excellence (iDEX).Defense Minister Rajnath Singh says AI, Bigdata and blockchain has revolutionized war fighting.Around 250 defense startups will avail of the funding.The government aims to achieve 50 tangible innovations from these startups.
