Royal Enfield, one of the dominant names in automobile industry is now shifting its focus on export activities. The company will soon launch dealership-assembly units in South East Asia and Latin America. The plant established in Thailand will be functional within 6 months.
While 20% of the total revenue generation comes from the international market, 20% will come from the sale of apparel accessories and the remaining 60% will be generated through domestic sales. Royal Enfield 350 is the bestselling model in India. Its other models like Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 have gained international traction. So far this year, the company has exported around 5,000 units. Royal Enfield has 900 stores in India alone.
