Japan asks its firms located in China to relocate. The country has earmarked $2.2 Bn to help manufacturers shift production out of China. The financial aid comes as part of Japan’s economic stimulus package. 220 Bn yen for companies shifting back to Japan and 23.5 Bn yen for the ones relocating to other countries. China is Japan’s biggest trading partner. Automobile makers manufacturing for Chinese domestic market may likely stay put.
