Tech corporates are cashing on video call market post the fall of Zoom app

After the fall of the overnight star Zoom App that shot to fame during the lockdown period, various tech corporates are busy figuring out ways to capture the video conferencing market. Currently, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, FaceTime, Google Duo and various other apps provide professional free video conferencing mechanisms.
Microsoft Teams app is getting noticed for official video conferencing. Conference-calling, meeting, scheduling and file sharing are easy there. Both free version and paid subscription are available. Jitsi app is helpful for small business discussions and personal conferencing. Users can participate in a video conference from various devices. Jitsi provides password-protected conferencing room.

BigBlueButton helps education institutions to do video conferencing.It also supports whiteboards and screen share. Apple FaceTime can be used for secure video communications. FaceTime will function only on MacOS, iOS and iPadOS devices. At a time, 32 people can be connected through the app. Calls will be secure due to end-to-end encryption.

Google Duo that has call preview can connect 12 people. The app supports both audio and video calls.Discord is apt for group video games. The app allows participants to see and interact while playing games.
