Tata Sons partners with Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Covid-19 test kits. Kits will be based on RT-LAMP technology. RT-LAMP is a futuristic technology that can be adapted for point-of-care setting. The test uses an isothermal set-up to create copies of viral DNA for detection. SCTIMST got approval for plasma therapy from ICMR last month.
