Govt of India bans 118 mobile apps including the popular PUBG
Ministry of Electronics and IT said the ban is due to data privacy concerns
Ministry received complaints and reports on the misuse of data by these apps
The prohibition comes under the Section 69A of the Information Technology Act
Baidu, Government WeChat, Smart AppLock & Carrom Friends are a few other apps
