Govt panel clears $100-billion mobile export proposals from global manufacturers
Proposals of leading players like Foxconn, Samsung and Karbonn’s have been cleared
Applications are approved under the PLI Scheme
The panel included members from Niti Aayog, MeitY, DPIIT and DGFT
Applicants include 5 foreigners and 7 Indians; 6 are from components manufacturing scheme
