Also helms Twitter’s operations in the South Asian region
She will continue in her role till March this year
Her resignation comes at a time when Twitter faces govt criticism
During the farmers’ protests, MEITY had directed Twitter to block 250 accounts
Govt also warned failure to comply with directives will lead to penal action against Twitter
