Applications are invited for the MeitY – NASSCOM Startup Women Entrepreneur Award
The award for software products is in collaboration with UN Women
An applicant can apply for a maximum of three awards in one or more categories
The awards are given in six categories
The award for each category is worth Rs 2 lakhs
Disruptive Marketer of the Year, Iconic Woman Personality of the Year, Emerging Startup, emerging tech startup are some categories
Awards will be also presented for Startup of the year and startup with social impact in various sectors
Apply before February 19
The woman entrepreneur must be a majority shareholder, founder or co-founder
The startup must be registered in India and come under DPIIT criteria
Registration at the Indian Software Products Registry is mandatory
In India, women account for 14% of the total entrepreneurship scenario
The award will reflect the importance of women entrepreneurs in the economy and their innovations
