Applications have been invited for MeitY-NASSCOM Startup Women Entrepreneur award
The award for software products is in association with the UN Women
Each applicant can apply for minimum three awards in one or more categories.
14 awards wil be given in six categories
Each category has a cash prize worth Rs 2 lakhs
Some categories include Disruptive Marketer of the Year, Iconic Woman Personality of The Year, Emerging Startup and Emerging Tech Startup.
Startup of The Year and Startup with a Social impact awards are also given in different categories
The last date to apply is February 19
The woman entrepreneur must be a majority shareholder, founder or co-founder
The startup must be registered in India and come under DPIIT criteria
Registration at the Indian Software Products Registry is mandatory
In India, women account for 14% of the total entrepreneurship scenario
The award will reflect the importance of women entrepreneurs in the economy and their innovations
