Flipkart considers IPO in the US, expecting a valuation of $35 billion

The e-commerce major will merge with a blank-check firm to quicken the listing process

Flipkart has approached various Special-Purpose Acquisition Companies (SPACs) for the same

SPACs are shell corporations listed on a stock exchange to acquire a private company

They help private firms go public without traditional IPO processes

Flipkart is also analysing other alternatives, say reports

Meanwhile, competitor Grofers also considers the US listing
