UAE-based TCN International commerce LLC invested in the student startup ‘Zaara Biotech’
The startup comes under the IEDC scheme of Kerala Startup Mission
It focuses on research in energy and food crisis
The project, entitled ‘Algae-Seaweed Technology’, under the brand B-lite Cookies bagged the funding
The startup is incubated at Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology
Zaara Biotech was founded by Najeeb Bin Haneef in 2016 while studying at Sahrdaya College
The startup will use the funding for the product’s global expansion in research and sale
