Jeep will set up EV charging stations on off-road routes in US
This is being done in association with charging brand ‘Electrify America’
Jeep 4xe chargers are either solar or connected to power grid
First stations will open at Moab in Utah and Rubicon Trail and Big Bear in California
Chargers will have Level 2 (240 volt) charging
17-kWh battery pack in Wrangler 4xe will charge in two hours
Charger is available for free to 4xe owners through the mobile app
It can be used for future EVs as well
