Government extends deadline for linking Aadhaar with PAN
Deadline had ended on March 31, 2021
I-T Department says this has now been extended till June 30
Decision follows complaints regarding website glitches
Deadline for linking has seen several extensions in the past
I-T department set the revised deadline of March 31, 2021 on July 31 last year
As on August last year, 32.71 crore PAN cards were linked with biometric IDs
About 50.95 crore PAN cards were issued as on June 29, 2020
