UPI records 2.6 billion UPI transactions worth Rs 4.9 lakh crore on April 2021

This is almost 47 percent of the total transaction value
PhonePe is followed by Google Pay, Paytm Payments Bank, Axis Bank, Amazon Pay, Yes Bank and BHIM
NPCI has recently rolled out a new process to monitor third-party UPI apps
NPCI also capped market share for UPI apps at 30% and rolled out a Standard Operating Procedure
UPI apps are directed to comply with the aforementioned guidelines by January 2022
