Google upgrades Maps to support COVID-19 precautionary measures
It currently tests a new feature that shares information on the availability of beds and medical oxygen
Users can access it from the Q&A section in Maps
Since this is user-generated content, users have to verify the authenticity of data before proceeding
Google currently shows 2,500 testing centres and 23,000 vaccination centres on Search and Maps
Apart from this, Google raised $4.6 million from its internal donation campaign to support non-profit organisations
Google has also rolled out a COVID Aid campaign on Google Pay to donate to non-profit organisations
