You can book a check-in time slot in advance before heading to the airport
Those who book in advance will receive an email for personal check-in time
You can go to the designated desk when the check-in time system notifies
Those who do not wish to use the Qmatic system can continue with the normal procedure
You also have the option to scan the QR code at the airport and join the virtual queue
British Airways is the first airline to use this technology
The trial is on selected flights departing from Heathrow Terminal 5
The three-month trial is backed by digital app support, including the British Airways app
The ‘VeriFLY’ app is also being tested on flights to the US, Canada and France
The COVID-19 negative result can be uploaded directly to ba.com before the trip
This is a must-have to travel to Cyprus, Germany, Greece, Italy, Spain and Portugal
