Pfizer tells India its vaccine is ‘highly effective’ on Covid variants
The company clarified that the vaccine is suitable for everyone aged 12 years or above
It also can be stored at two to eight degrees for a month
Pfizer offers five cr doses to India between July and October this year
The company has sought certain relaxations including indemnification with the Indian govt
India has so far administered over 20 crore doses since the vaccination drive launch in January
Currently, India uses two made-in-India vaccines: ‘Covishield’ and ‘Covaxin’ and Russian-made ‘Sputnik V’
