Defence Ministry announces Rs 499 crore support for Startups, MSMEs
The allocation has been made to the scheme iDEX by Defence Innovation Organisation (DIO)
Targets 300 MSMEs, startups, innovations & 20 partner incubators under the DIO framework for the next five years
Around 11K MSMEs are already acting as vendors in supplying defence-related goods
Ordnance Factory Board and Defence PSUs are the key beneficiaries of these defence goods
The scheme to boost self-reliance and indigenisation in the defence and aerospace sector of the country
