Tata Motors expects Electric Vehicles (EV) to hold 25% of its Passenger Vehicle (PV) sales in the future
Said N. Chandrasekaran, Chairman, Tata Motors, at the company’s 76th annual general meeting
Currently, EVs account for 2% of the company’s PV sales
The automobile major will announce fundraising plans to boost the EV sector
It plans to launch 10 EV models before 2025; the models will be affordable
The company also plans to install a battery plant outside of Tata Motors, said Chandrasekaran
