PM Modi has started his US visit by meeting leading American CEOs from five sectors
He held one-on-one meetings with CEOs of Qualcomm, Adobe, First Solar, General Atomics and Blackstone
In the meeting, he highlighted the economic opportunities in India
Two were Indian Americans – Shantanu Narayen from Adobe and Vivek Lall from General Atomics
Others were Cristiano E Amon from Qualcomm, Mark Widmar from First Solar, and Stephen A Schwarzman from Blackstone
Cristiano was enthusiastic about India’s ambitious digital transformation programmes
PM assured Qualcomm that India will proactively work on their proposals
Both PM and CEO of Adobe stressed creating centres of excellence in AI in India
