US, UK, Germany,Australia തുടങ്ങിയ രാജ്യങ്ങളിലെ ഹൈവേ നിലവാരം ഇന്ത്യയിലുമെത്തും. ഒപ്റ്റിക്ക് ഫൈബർ, ​ഗ്യാസ് പൈപ്പ്ലൈൻ എന്നിവയും പുതിയ റോ‍‍ഡുകളുടെ ഭാഗമാകും. ഏഴ് expresswayകൾ നിലവിൽ നിർമാണഘട്ടത്തിലേക്ക് കട‌ന്നു.  ഒരു ലക്ഷം കോടി രൂപ ചെലവ് വരുന്ന Delhi-Mumbai Expresswayയും ഇതിലുണ്ട്. മധ്യപ്രദേശിൽ 8,250 കോടിയുടെ Chambal Expressway ചർച്ചയിലാണ്.  ജമ്മു കശ്മീരിൽ 2,379 കോടിയുട‌െ Z-Morh Tunnel project ഉടൻ ആരംഭിക്കും.
