DTH, വൈദ്യുതി, ഗ്യാസ്, ടെലികോം, വാട്ടര്‍ ബില്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടെ 5 സെഗ്മെന്റുകളാണ് BPPSല്‍ നിലവിലുള്ളത്. നാഷണല്‍ പെയ്മെന്റ് കോര്‍പ്പറേഷന്‍ ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യയാണ് BPPS നിയന്ത്രിക്കുന്നത്.
RBI opens Bharat Bill Payment Service to all categories of billers. BPPS offers integrated bill payment service to consumers across geographies. The platform offers certain, reliable and safe transactions. Currently BPPS covers 5 segments including DTH, electricity, gas, telecom & water bills. BPPS will be managed by National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI).
Cab hailing company Uber to launch bus service in India. Service allows users to reserve their seat in an air-conditioned bus through Uber app. Uber has already launched bus services in the Middle East and Latin America. The company is working on launching shuttle buses in India by 2020. Uber will compete with the likes of Amazon-backed bus service provider Shuttl.

Reliance, BP to join hands to create world-class fuel partnership. The joint venture will run retail fuel stations and supply aviation fuel. Reliance will hold 51 percent and BP will hold the rest in the venture. RIL’s fuel network consists of above 1,400 outlets. RIL’s aviation fuel business operates over 30 airports in India. The venture will compete with the likes of IOC, BPCL, Hindustan Petroleum and more.
