രാജ്യത്ത് സെന്റര്‍ ഓഫ് എക്സലന്‍സ്(CoE) സ്ഥാപിക്കാന്‍ സോഫ്റ്റ്വെയര് ടെക്നോളജി പാര്‍ക്സ് ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യ. സോഫ്റ്റ്വെയര് എക്‌സ്‌പോര്‍ട്‌സ് പ്രമോട്ട് ചെയ്യാനാണ് രാജ്യത്തുടനീളം 28 CoEകള്‍ സ്ഥാപിക്കുന്നത്. ഐടി സര്‍വീസില്‍ നിന്ന് രാജ്യത്തെ പ്രൊഡക് ഫോക്കസ്ഡ് ആക്കുകയാണ് ലക്ഷ്യം. ഇന്നവേറ്റീവ് വെന്‍ച്വര്‍ ആരംഭിക്കാന്‍ എന്‍ട്രപ്രണേഴ്സിനെ CoEകള്‍ സഹായിക്കും. AI, ML, IoT തുടങ്ങിയപോലെയുള്ള ടെക്നോളജികളിലാണ് CoEകള്‍ ശ്രദ്ധ കേന്ദ്രീകരിക്കുക. കേന്ദ്രസര്‍ക്കാരിന്റെ ‘മെയ്ക്ക് ഇന്‍ ഇന്ത്യ’ മിഷന്റെ ഭാഗമായാണ് 400 കോടിയുടെ ഈ ഇനിഷ്യേറ്റീവ്.
Software Technology Parks of India to set up 28 CoEs at a cost of Rs 400 Cr. The initiative aims at transforming India from IT service nation to a product nation. CoEs will help budding talents & entrepreneurs launch innovative ventures. The focus of CoEs will be on emerging technologies like AI, ML, IoT and more. The initiative is a subset of Government’s ‘Make in India’ mission.

Tata Motors-owned Jaguar Land Rover to launch electrified models in India. The launch is part of “Destination Zero”, an initiative undertaken by JLR. The initiative aims towards zero fatality, zero-emission and zero congestion. The electrified models will include I-Pace all-electric cars and hybrid vehicles. Currently, JLR is locally manufacturing six vehicles at its facility in Pune.
