Startup marketplace LetsVenture to fund Y Combinator-backed Indian startups. LetsVenture ties up with Silicon Valley-based Pioneer Funds for the venture. The company is setting up ‘Future for India’ fund of $1.5 Mn for 5-7 Indian startups. Let’s Venture has 6,500 and over 120 family offices in its platform. Y Combinator has recently selected 15 Indian startups for its summer batch of 2019.

Indian startup Bellatrix Aerospace to build re-usable space launch vehicles. The company, based out in IISc Bengaluru, raises $3 Mn fund for the venture. Funding round was led by IDFC-Parampara, StartupXseed, Karsemven Fund and Survam Partners. Bellatrix specialises in in-space propulsion systems & orbital launch vehicles. Bellatrix’s two-stage launch rocket Chetak is scheduled for 2023 launch.

Fintech startup Active.Ai raises $3 Mn from Spanish Banking group Banco Sabadell. The Singapore-based startup employs AI to deliver conversational banking services. Existing investors Kalaari Capital & Chiratae Ventures also took part in the funding round. Active.Ai is Banco Sabadell’s first investment in Indian fintech space. Active.Ai can be linked to Alexa, Google Home, Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger & Skype.
