AI, ക്ലൗഡ് മേഖലയ്ക്ക് കരുത്തേകാന് കേന്ദ്ര സര്ക്കാരിന്റെ ‘AIRAWAT’. രാജ്യത്തെ AI, ക്ലൗഡ് മേഖലയിലെ R&D പ്രോസസിന് നേതൃത്വം നല്കുകയാണ് ലക്ഷ്യം. National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence (NSAI) വിദഗ്ധരുടെ നിര്ദ്ദേശപ്രകാരമാണ് ‘AIRAWAT’ന് രൂപം നല്കുന്നത്. കമ്പ്യൂട്ടിങ്ങ് റിസോഴ്സസ് ആക്സസിന് ചാലഞ്ചിങ്ങാകുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങള് പരിഹരിക്കുന്നതാണ് നീക്കം. നീതി ആയോഗാണ് ‘AIRAWAT’ പ്രൊജക്ടിന്റെ വിശദാംശങ്ങള് പുറത്ത് വിട്ടത്.

ഊബര് ഈറ്റ്സിന്റെ ഇന്ത്യന് ബിസിനസ് zomato ഏറ്റെടുത്തു. 350 മില്യണ് ഡോളറിനാണ് ഇന്ത്യന് കമ്പനിയായ zomato ഊബര് ഈറ്റ്സിനെ ഏറ്റെടുത്തത്. ഇരു കമ്പനികളും തമ്മിലുള്ള ഡീല് പ്രകാരം ഊബറിന് സൊമാറ്റോയില് 9.99% ഓഹരി ലഭിക്കും. 2017ല് 30 നഗരങ്ങളിലായിട്ടാണ് uber eats ഇന്ത്യയിലെ പ്രവര്ത്തനം ആരംഭിച്ചത്. uber eats വേറെ ബ്രാന്റായി നില്ക്കുമെങ്കിലും കസ്റ്റമേഴ്സിനെ സൊമാറ്റോയിലേക്ക് റീഡയറക്ട് ചെയ്യും. swiggy, zomato എന്നീ കമ്പനികളാണ് ഫുഡ് ഡെലിവറിയില് രാജ്യത്ത് ലീഡ് ചെയ്യുന്നത്. uber ഈറ്റ്സിന്റെ 100 എംപ്ലോയിസിനെ ഊബറിന്റെ വേറെ വെര്ട്ടിക്കലുകളിലേക്ക് മാറ്റും. ഡീല് സൊമാറ്റോയെ ബലപ്പെടുത്തുമെന്ന് co-founder Deepinder Goyal. ant financial 150 മില്യണ് ഡോളര് സൊമാറ്റോയില് നിക്ഷേപം നടത്തിയിരുന്നു.
Zomato acquires Uber Eats India. The acquisition was done for $350 Mn. As per the deal, Uber will have a 9.99 % share in Zomato. Uber Eats started India operations in 2017 across 30 cities. Now, Uber Eats will remain a separate brand with its customers being redirected to Zomato. In India, Swiggy and Zomato rule the food delivery business. 100 employees of Uber Eats will be transferred to the company’s other verticals. Zomato co-founder Deepinder Goyal feels the deal will strengthen the company. Ant Financial had invested $150Mn in Zomato.
