രാജ്യത്ത് ഗവേഷണം പുനരുജ്ജീവിപ്പിക്കാൻ IIT Alumni ഇതിനായി IIT Alumni കൗൺസിൽ India Empowerment Fund സമാഹരിക്കുന്നു 50,000 കോടി രൂപ സമാഹരണമാണ്  IIT Alumni ലക്ഷ്യമിടുന്നത് ആഭ്യന്തര ഗവേഷണത്തെ പുനരുജ്ജീവിപ്പിക്കാൻ ഫണ്ട് ഉപയോഗിക്കും 5 ലക്ഷത്തോളം വരുന്ന IIT പൂർവ്വവിദ്യാർത്ഥികളിൽ നിന്ന് ഫണ്ട് സമാഹരിക്കും നാല് ഘട്ടമായുളള മെഗാഫണ്ട് ഇനിഷ്യേറ്റിവ് 10 വർഷത്തിനുളളിൽ നടപ്പാക്കും ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ഏഞ്ചൽ ഫണ്ട് റെഗുലേറ്ററി സിസ്റ്റത്തിന് കീഴിലായിരിക്കും IIT Angel Fund സോഷ്യൽ ഫണ്ട്, കോ-ഇൻവെസ്റ്റ്മെന്റ് പ്ലാറ്റ്ഫോം, Fund of Funds എന്നിങ്ങനെയുമുണ്ടാകും അടുത്ത ദശകത്തിൽ 21,000 കോടി രൂപ സമാഹരിക്കുകയാണ് സോഷ്യൽ ഫണ്ട് ലക്ഷ്യം ഓരോ പൂർവ്വ വിദ്യാർത്ഥിക്കും പണമോ ടെക്നോളജിയോ സംഭാവന ചെയ്യാം IIT Alumni കൗൺസിലിന്  35,000 ത്തോളം മെമ്പേഴ്സും 350 ഓളം വെൻച്വർ ഫണ്ടുകളുമുണ്ട്
