EPFO decides not to penalise employers for the delay in depositing PF during the lockdown. The decision comes as part of the new financial package to tackle COVID-19. Companies will also benefit from low EPF contribution strategy. The initiative will ease compliance norms for about 6,50,000 firms. It will also help employers to avoid facing a liquidity crunch.
