Recovers high-quality minerals compared to other recyclers. 14 minerals including tin, cobalt and lithium can be extracted and recycled. The robot is less than 20 yards in length. It uses a four-step process to remove an iPhone battery. Apple had bought carbon-free aluminium from Rio Tinto & Alcoa. Plans to share the technology with others are on the anvil.
