The Bangalore based online food platform foodybuddy enables home chefs to sell home-cooked food to neighbourhood. FoodyBuddy provides a platform where anyone who loves to cook can express herself/himself through food. . In 2018 prime ventures partners invested 6 Cr in foody buddy and it aims to expand its service to other cities.People in Rural India have the habit of sharing food and that’s where the idea clicked to Rachana Rao. Her husband Akil Sethuranam & former colleague Anup Gopinath decided to establish foodyBuddy. The cook can list their meals and portion sizes on the app and customers can pre-order meals.  The food is either delivered or picked up by customers. The app lets the seller to decide the quantity, rate, menu and delivery. The seller or the cook will announce the menu he/she will be preparing for tomorrow and will announce the time of serving so that the customers can place their order in advance and thus no food will be wasted.
