Amazon India head Amit Agarwal takes over as chairman of IAMAI. Yatra co-founder & CEO Dhruv Singhri will be new vice chairman. Amit Agarwal succeeds Rajan Anandan, former MD, Google India. IAMAI aims to expand & enhance online & mobile value-added services. IAMAI has a membership of 300 Indian and global companies in Tier I cities. India accounts for 12% of the world’s internet users, with an estimated 500 Mn users.
