A startup born out of a reunion
Seeing our friends after a long time and the reminiscence that follows during a re-union is a refreshing feeling for everybody. Flockforge, a startup founded by Tarun Udayaraj and Anoop John are a boon to alumni who wish to return to their campuses and courtyards were nostalgia beckons.
Re-connect the disconnected
Founder Tarun Udayaraj said Flockforge was launched with the aim of connecting alumni associations in schools and colleges and bring the alumni together. Flockforge is a platform designed for website and mobile applications.
What lies within and beyond a re-union
When alumni reunite years later, they often wonder what they can contribute to the college, school, and the community. It was this thought that inspired the founders of Flockforge Solutions. Tarun and Anoop are alumni of the College of Engineering and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram. A meeting brought Tarun, a student of CET, and Anoop John, an alumnus of the same college, together. The meeting prospered and that led to the launch of Flockforge, a startup.
A helping hand in finding a job
Flockforge services are available at Medical College, Loyola School and Kendriya Vidyalaya. When alumni meetings take place, FlockForge co-ordinates with the alumni, decides the location for the event and makes the alumni’s contributions available to the school/college. Alumni can also help students in landing a job. The CET Alumni Association is also offering a scholarship for students who are smart but economically challenged. Currently, 600 students are part of the scholarship.
